Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary modality involving the use of alternating pressure applied to the reflexes within the reflex maps of the body located on the feet, the hands and the outer ears.
Reflexolgy is an ancient, holistic therapy dating back to ancient Egypt, China and India, with it's main goal in bringing back balance and aiding in the body in healing itself. It is used for a wide variety of ailments, especially in reducing stress levels, which is the root of many of our modern ailments. It induces the Alpha state of sleep, which in turn allows the body to release deep tension and improve circumstances for better circulation, therefore catalising the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Jo-Anna Cassino is trained in the Universal method of reflexology for both the hands and the feet. She is also an herbalist and works with various forms of healing with plants, including aromatherapy.
Sessions are an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes
Sessions include an herbal footbath
